Job summary

EY in Dubai is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our GCR team, where you will lead complex tax engagements and play a key role in driving growth of our GCR practice. You will combine strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge to lead a team in providing tax services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or related fields.
• MBA or professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules/regulations, ideally in a large professional services firm.
• Strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing.
• Proven managerial, organizational, and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a tax services team, combining technical and commercial knowledge to deliver client solutions.
• Manage day-to-day engagements, monitor progress, and identify risks to accelerate resolutions.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships while ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Coach junior team members and foster a positive learning culture.
• Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines across engagements.
