Job summary

Ernst & Young AE in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Tax professional to lead complex engagements within the GCR practice. You will provide tax services, manage client compliance and reporting, and strengthen relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery across borders.

You will oversee day-to-day engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, and implement standardized processes. The role requires experience with multinational clients, strong tax knowledge, and a proven leadership track

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting, business, finance, taxation or related field with strong academic credentials.
• Advanced degree (MBA, master’s) or professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic and international tax rules, regulations, and developments, ideally within a large professional services firm.
• Strong background in tax accounting and auditing.
• Proven managerial, organizational, and project-management track record.
• Experience dealing with multinational clients and operating in a multi-cultural environment.
• In-depth commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engagements and drive growth of the GCR practice.
• Provide tax services, manage client compliance and reporting needs.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, and implement standardized processes.
• Anticipate and identify risks, escalating issues and driving performance-improvement solutions.
• Supervise high-performing teams and foster a positive learning culture through coaching and counseling of junior team members.
• Ensure adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines.
