HLB Hamt is an entity pursuing and delivering high-quality advisory services and offers a wide range of audit, assurance, tax, IT Services, Human Resources, and Business Consultancy services where technology forms the heart of the business. The firm has continuously been pushing the bar of excellence, ever since its inception in the year 1999 and has successfully scaled new heights. We are looking for Senior Tax Analyst for our Dubai office, who can implement tax plans and works with the accounting and leadership teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and potential areas of risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service.
  • Detection and evaluation of risks as well as opportunities regarding respective tax issues.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge in respect of all areas of VAT, including keeping up to date with the appropriate legislation and developments in law.
  • Advice on all aspects of value added tax to the client as well as ensuring the organization to be up to date on changes in tax legislations.
  • Identify and execute new processes to improve indirect tax compliance.
  • Being the Key relationship holder for Middle East VAT.
  • Ensuring that all financial accounting standards are considered and recognized to meet all areas of compliance and audit guidelines.
  • Research into VAT savings for clients and identifying exposure in respect of VAT.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualified CA/CMA/CPA/ACCA with 2-3 years of relevant UAE experience.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge regarding UAE VAT.
  • Be self-motivated and a problem solver.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Preferably have worked in consultancy companies.
