Vinirma Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) to take full ownership of large‑scale AWS environments across its UAE operations. This is a senior, hands‑on role focused on architecting, operating, and optimizing secure, scalable, and production‑grade cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

Detailed Job Description

In this role, you will act as a technical authority for AWS cloud platforms, responsible for building and running real‑world, mission‑critical environments—not just designing them on paper. You will work across compute, storage, networking, and security layers to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance. The position demands deep troubleshooting skills, strong automation experience, and a solid understanding of hybrid infrastructures integrating on‑prem and cloud systems. You will also lead cost‑optimization initiatives and design DR strategies across multi‑AZ and multi‑region architectures. Key Responsibilities

• ✓ Architect, deploy, and manage production‑grade AWS cloud environments
• ✓ Design secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized solutions using AWS best practices
• ✓ Build and operate services across EC2, S3, EBS, EFS
• ✓ Design networking using VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, and Direct Connect
• ✓ Manage databases including RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora
• ✓ Implement governance and identity using IAM, Organizations, and Control Tower
• ✓ Deliver edge and routing solutions using CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda, and API Gateway
• ✓ Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies (multi‑AZ, multi‑region)
• ✓ Lead AWS cost‑optimization initiatives and performance tuning
• ✓ Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, network, storage, OS, and security layers
• ✓ Drive automation across infrastructure and operations
• ✓ Support and integrate hybrid cloud environments

Required Qualifications & Skills

• ✓ 7–10+ years of experience in Systems / Infrastructure Engineering
• ✓ Strong hands‑on AWS experience (built and operated real environments)
• ✓ AWS certification – Solutions Architect Professional preferred
• ✓ Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (L3 / L4 / L7)
• ✓ Strong knowledge of security and identity management
• ✓ Solid experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
• ✓ Proven experience with automation (scripting or tools)
• ✓ Experience operating hybrid cloud environments
• ✓ Exceptional troubleshooting skills across multiple technology layers

Nice‑to‑Have Skills
