Job summary
Within AECOM's Buildings Sustainability Team in Dubai, the Associate Sustainability Consultant will provide technical leadership across complex sustainability and green building certification projects, guiding teams and maintaining high-quality outcomes.
The role combines advanced technical expertise with project leadership and client-facing responsibilities, mentoring junior staff and supporting business growth and proposals.
Qualifications
- 10–14 years in sustainability consulting and green building certification delivery.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Building Sciences, or related discipline.
- Accredited professional status in LEED, Estidama, Mostadam, WELL, or Fitwel.
- Experience leading large or complex certification projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of multiple sustainability and certification projects with accountability for quality and outcomes.
- Define strategies for LEED, Estidama, Mostadam and other rating systems.
- Be the primary technical and client-facing lead on assigned projects.
- Provide technical direction for energy modelling daylighting and building performance studies.
- Review reports and submission documentation prior to client issue.
- Coordinate with architects engineers and consultants to embed sustainability requirements.
- Mentor Senior Consultants and Consultants.
- Support governance processes and development of tools and templates.
- Contribute to business development including proposals and bids.
