Overview

Senior Supervisor - Landscape is responsible for overseeing all aspects of landscape maintenance and development projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is crucial for maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of the community's green spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of landscape technicians and workers, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback. Schedule daily tasks and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning and execution of all landscape projects, including new installations, seasonal planting, and major maintenance work. Ensure all projects stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Quality & Standards: Conduct regular inspections of all landscaped areas to ensure they meet established quality standards. This includes plant health, irrigation systems, pruning, and cleanliness.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce all health and safety regulations on-site. Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure the team uses equipment correctly and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Budget Management: Assist the Manager in monitoring and controlling project budgets, tracking material usage, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries and complaints related to landscaping. Address concerns promptly and professionally, providing regular updates to management.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in landscape maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant species, pest control, and irrigation systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and teams effectively.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Professional certifications in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field are a plus.
