Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
• 17–25 years of oil and gas experience with major contractor or consultant.
• Knowledgeable in design techniques, analysis methods, standards, codes and guidelines for mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business challenges in pipeline engineering and provide best-practice solutions.
• Lead functional teams or projects as a specialist in pipeline engineering.
• Prepare design basis philosophies and technical specifications; review and approve deliverables.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure clash-free designs and inter-discipline alignment.
• Review project and fabrication schedules, attend kickoffs and vendor meetings as required.
• Provide technical direction and review of production outputs from Designers.
• Support procurement in selecting equipment and materials meeting customer objectives.
