Job description

We are looking for a Senior Subcontract Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Expected start date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 12 months

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience
  • Any professional certifications in contract/subcontract management
  • GCC Experience -Oil & Gas sector
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk management and dispute resolution processes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain detail reports on Subcontractor performance contract status and project progress
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all subcontract agreements
  • Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements and amendments.
  • Ensure that subcontract agreements are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure subcontractors' activities align with project goals and schedules.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise between subcontractors and project teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontracting and manage potential disputes
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential subcontractor performance issues.
  • Ensure that subcontracting activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
