Job summary

IRTH Group is seeking an experienced Structural QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality of structural construction across projects. You will monitor compliance with drawings, specs, and industry standards while acting as a key quality representative throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 6–10 years of QA/QC experience in building construction projects, with 3–5 years focused on structural works.
• Strong experience in reinforced concrete structures, structural steel works, foundations, and associated construction activities.
• Sound knowledge of structural inspection procedures, testing requirements, and quality control systems.
• Familiarity with international construction standards and local UAE regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is preferred.
• Certification such as CSWIP, BGAS, Lead Auditor, or other QA/QC-related qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Excellent technical reporting, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect structural works on-site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Review and verify contractor ITPs, method statements, quality control procedures, and checklists.
• Witness and verify field and lab testing activities (concrete slump, compression tests, reinforcement, weld inspections).
• Conduct surveillance inspections, identify non-conformities, deviations, or workmanship issues.
• Review QA/QC documentation submitted by contractors and maintain quality records.
• Prepare quality status reports and participate in QA/QC and progress meetings with stakeholders.
