Job summary

Bilfinger, a leading international industrial services provider, is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Structural Expert with about 20 years in structural engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in road infrastructure and structural works, including bridges, tunnels, precast structures, and cast-in-place post-tensioned structures.

The role involves leading design reviews, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with UAE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Equivalency Certificate is mandatory.
• Approximately 20 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience in UAE infrastructure and road projects.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering works for infrastructure and road projects.
• Review and coordinate structural design, tender drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Provide technical expertise for road-related structures.
• Review designs for bridges, tunnels, precast structures, and cast-in-place post-tensioned structures.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE standards, authority requirements, and project specs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor design quality, technical compliance, progress and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to structural engineers and design teams.
• Support tendering and technical proposal activities.
