Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Structural Expert with approximately 20 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will lead structural works for road infrastructure, bridges, tunnels, precast and cast-in-place post-tensioned structures.

The role requires coordinating design reviews, ensuring UAE standards compliance, and engaging with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipalities, clients, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Equivalency Certificate mandatory.
• Approximately 20 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Strong UAE infrastructure and road project experience.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipality requirements and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering works for infrastructure and road projects.
• Review and coordinate structural design, tender drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Provide technical expertise for road-related structures.
• Review structural designs related to bridges, tunnels, precast structures, and cast-in-place post-tensioned structures.
• Ensure structural designs comply with UAE standards, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Familiarize and coordinate with Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipality requirements for structural works.
• Monitor design quality, technical compliance, project progress, and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to structural engineers and design teams.
• Support tendering and technical proposal activities, including review of design and tender documentation.
