Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is looking for a Structural Inspector - Roads and Bridges to be based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in construction projects, particularly in roads and bridges within the UAE.

This role involves supervising civil works, ensuring compliance with standards, and conducting inspections. The position offers a competitive monthly salary of 16,000-22,000 UAE Dirhams along with health insurance and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in structural and road construction projects, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of RTA standards, bridge structures, and civil works.
• Proven ability to manage field inspection, documentation, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise structural and civil works for roads and bridges to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor contractor activities, equipment, and workforce to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare reports covering work progress, materials, and compliance issues.
• Review contractor QA/QC documentation and verify testing and inspection records.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and coordinate with the Resident Engineer for issue resolution.
