Job summary

AECOM is seeking a seasoned Civil/Structural Site Supervisor for Abu Dhabi to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents and site safety. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate with the Resident Engineer, prepare reports, and monitor QA/QC while maintaining records of resources and inspections.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in similar projects, UAE experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and familiarity with roads/bridges and applicable standards. RTA approval is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in similar projects
• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience; UAE experience is mandatory
• Experience in structural and roads projects; RTA Approval is preferred
• Able to supervise site, coordinate with RE/SE and maintain records of QA/QC

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with contract docs, drawings, specs and safety measures
• Ensure contractor compliance with contract documents
• Maintain records of contractor resources (human/equipment)
• Undertake site supervision and inspections as directed by RE/SE
• Liaise and follow up with the contractor on resources, safety, and equipment
• Prepare daily reports for RE/SE including works orders and inspections
• Follow site instructions from RE/SE and apply quality controls
• Prepare site measurements and surveying checks for bridges and structures
• Coordinate with client project manager during site inspections
• Audit and maintain records of materials tests and completed works

Education
