Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Abu Dhabi seeks an Inspector specialized in Structural assessments to join our civil engineering team. You will conduct routine and targeted inspections of road and bridge structures, evaluate structural integrity and prepare detailed reports.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, with 7 years' experience in structural inspection on road projects. PE or equivalent certification is preferred and knowledge of UAE standards is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Structural specialization preferred.
Master's degree is an advantage.
Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine and specialized inspections of road and highway structures, including bridges and tunnels.
Verify compliance with IFC drawings, specs and method statements.
Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing as required.
Record inspection data, NCRs and corrective actions; prepare detailed reports.
Coordinate daily inspection activities with contractors and project teams; provide guidance to junior inspectors.
