Job summary

Egis seeks a detail-oriented Structural Inspector to join our Dubai supervision team. You will ensure structural works comply with IFC/shop drawings, method statements, and UAE regulations, while coordinating with engineers and architects to resolve issues.

With 8+ years in UAE construction, you will expertly document inspections, drive non-conformity reporting, and uphold QA/QC standards on site. Fluency in English and travel between sites are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of UAE structural site inspection experience.
Strong knowledge of UAE codes and international standards.
Ability to interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and ITPs.
Excellent technical report writing and English communication.
Valid UAE driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
Health and safety focus with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive daily site inspections for all structural works.
Verify compliance with approved IFC drawings, shop drawings, specs and method statements.
Identify deviations and issue SORs and NCRs with clear recommendations.
Review concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, structural steel, foundations, waterproofing interfaces.
Coordinate with project team to resolve issues and ensure corrective actions.
Maintain inspection records with photographs and detailed notes.
Ensure QA/QC procedures and ITPs are followed.
