Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 15+ years of experience, strong English communication, and the ability to manage reports, records, and site activities effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience.
• Ability to review and justify material submissions, analyze reports, and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize software for data access, records, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of bridges/viaducts and related items.
• Coordinate activities with other engineers and the construction supervision team.
• Review shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and related correspondence.
• Coordinate with design engineers to resolve related issues.
• Maintain daily diaries and inspector reports.
• Manage scheduling and resource allocation with contractor engineers.
• Direct and monitor inspectors and surveyors on site.
• Chair meetings with service authorities, contractor, and subcontractors.
