Senior Structural Engineer - Location: Dubai

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with the SSC team to manage projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and attend DM meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for innovation in structural design.

Key Responsibilities :

• Learn professional engineering procedures, codes, and company standards.
• Attend meetings with Dubai Municipality engineers and get structural design approved.
• Coordinate internally for municipal approval processes.
• Coordinate with client structural consultants to provide satisfactory design calculations matching their standards.
• Resolve construction issues with contractors.
• Prepare correspondence such as letters, emails, and memos related to daily tasks.
• Prepare plans and specifications.
• Manage, coordinate, and delegate work to junior engineering and drafting staff.
• Provide input and suggestions to improve the performance of S-Struct.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications :

Mandatory Requirements :

• Unlimited Structural Engineering License with Dubai Municipality.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural engineering of buildings.
• Sufficient experience in structural analysis software like ETABS and SAFE.
• Experience in precast and steel construction is a bonus.

Other Requirements :

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and standards.
• Good understanding of ACI code; experience with other international codes such as IS, AISC, ASCE is an advantage.
