McDermott is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to advance the Structural discipline through expert analyses, calculations, and design leadership. You will guide engineers on small projects, align with design codes, and ensure operability and safety in complex offshore and onshore structures.

Ideal candidates bring 8–15 years in oil and gas, professional registration, and strong English communication. Collaboration across disciplines will be routine to deliver compliant, efficient solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 8-15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
• P.E. registered or professional society membership preferred.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and codes.
• Proficient in engineering software.
• Good working knowledge of English (oral and written).

Aufgaben

• Perform conceptual, FEED, studies, and detailed analyses per design basis and standards.
• Direct Engineering team as Lead Engineer on small projects.
• Prepare detailed design calculations and reports.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Review vendor data and prepare technical bid evaluations.
• Check designs for operability, constructability, and maintainability.
