Job summary

China State Construction Middle East (CSECE ME) is recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Technical Team for a newly awarded large scale high-rise tower project in Dubai. The role focuses on providing structural design and technical support, conducting routine site visits, and auditing compliance with company procedures.

The engineer will review sub-contractor calculations, deliver engineering feedback, contribute to temporary works design reviews, and assist in tendering and value

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design and technical support to project team
• Routine project site visits to understand challenges and audit compliance with procedures
• Review sub-contractor calculation submissions (steel design, PT design, etc.) and provide engineering feedback
• Provide engineering solutions where required
• Design and checking for all contractor temporary works design (equipment foundation, equipment support, formwork, back propping, etc.)
• Reviewing of Key method statement from structure adequacy perspective
• Assist in investigation for structural items where site incidents have occurred
• Assist in tendering where structural input is required
• Propose and develop structure value engineering proposals and design optimization.
