Job summary

Salama Structural Engineers in Dubai seeks a Senior Structural Engineer with extensive experience in high-rise concrete structures to lead our Structure Department.

You will prepare structural drawings, supervise subcontractors, mentor junior engineers, ensure HSE compliance, and coordinate with clients on a weekly basis to align progress and handle modifications. This is a demanding role that rewards accuracy, teamwork, and a rigorous approach to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in structural construction for high-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of American standards (ACI 318, ASCE 7).
• Proficiency in Revit, SAP, ETABS, and SAFE.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings and identify discrepancies, proposing effective solutions in coordination with the architecture and electromechanical teams.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractors’ work progress, productivity, and quality of materials used.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE regulations and promote a culture of safety across all project sites.
• Coordination with client on weekly base to align on progress and receive requests and modifications
• Prepare and submit technical and progress reports to management.
