Division International in Dubai, UAE has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an approved unlimited or G+12 DM Structural Engineer who can do the structural design for residential, commercial, and steel structural buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Produce specific CAD drawings and specifications on time and to the required quality standards.
• Make detailed structural designs using different software like Prokon, Etabs, Safe, Revit, and other needed software.
• Ensure all designs are approved by the authorities and comply with the regulations of DM, DDA, Tarakhees, or other authorities.
• Prepare detailed design AutoCAD and Revit drawings for structural elements like slabs, beams, columns, and foundations.
• Experience in BIM.
• Prepare schedules of reinforcements for beams, slabs, and columns.
• Prepare deliverables for submissions at various stages or as required.
• Maintain drawing lists, drawing issue schedules, and archives of drawings issued to various recipients.
• Maintain standard structural details and a library of repeated details.
• Review documents for structural coordination and verify accuracy and compliance with applicable CAD standards.
• Monitor and maintain technical quality in own documentation and communicate regular task updates to the senior technician overseeing the work.
• Under guidance from Senior Technologist/Senior Engineers, produce documentation relevant and sensitive to the structural design intent and participate with others in developing technical solutions.
• Develop an understanding of technical quality tools and guidelines within the office.
• Maintain, enhance, and apply technical knowledge to ensure all documentation complies with relevant and current legislation, authority regulations, and building codes.
• Review prints against other disciplines' drawings and raise coordination issues to the team leader.
• Share technical knowledge and experiences with the team.
• Display a high level of professional behavior.

Qualifications:

• Approved Dubai municipality G+12 and approved Tarakhees is a must.
• A guideline of 5-7 years experience working on medium to large-sized projects, especially in towers.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Revit.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Safe, Prokon, Etabs, AutoCAD.
• Ability to produce a complete package of building sections, plans, elevation drawings, and details.
• A desire for gaining knowledge and developing professionally. A team worker and willing volunteer for projects/tasks.
• Positive attitude towards problem solving with an ability to interact with designers to achieve technical quality in the design process.
• Organized, methodical with highly developed planning skills.
• Results-oriented, forward-thinking individual possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated individual, who works independently and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, and has a willingness to take command and guide the future development of this market area.
