Minimum Requirements

Minimum 6-8 years' experience in engineering consultancy firms.

Master's degree / Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.

Business Development

Starting to develop a network of contacts.

Be an ambassador for the Company.

Project Role

• Able to represent the practice at project level.
• Demonstrate ability to take responsibility for projects.
• Manage the design and construction stages of a project.
• Supervise a small team of engineers and technicians.
• Typically serve as Project Engineer on various projects; may act as Design Engineer on major or complex projects.
• Responsible for delivering work within the agreed fee and timeline with a Project Manager.
• Core responsibilities include:
• Delivering tasks on time and within budget.
• Ensuring task profitability and quality.
• Preparing and presenting client/project proposals.
• Negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees when appropriate.
• Constructing project teams from internal and external resources.
• Procurement of project resources.
• Achieving 95% chargeable time.

Company Role

• Understand the company's business plan, mission, and key challenges.
• Contribute to developing company procedures through active participation in task groups.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to procedural development.
• Review and provide feedback on company procedures.
• Apply policies related to health & safety, quality, and training.
• Review and comment on deliverables from Engineers & Technicians at key project stages.
• Demonstrate comprehensive technical competence.
• Possess knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk, and claim assessment.
• Understand analytical concepts.
• Be responsible for Quality Management (QA) within the team.
• Be familiar with CAD standards and 3D working practices.

QHSE Responsibilities

• Understand, implement, and follow 9E QHSE policies.
• Coordinate QHSE procedures in the workplace.
• Comply with local QHSE regulations and laws.
• Report QHSE incidents immediately to the relevant departments and authorities.
• Adhere to Client / Contractor QHSE requirements and complete site inductions prior to mobilization.
