Senior Structural Engineer

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structures and ensuring their safety and stability. You will work closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop cost-effective and efficient designs. A successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge and experience in structural engineering, as well as excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

1. Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures.
2. Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
3. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
4. Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop integrated designs.
5. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and drafters.
6. Review and evaluate structural design alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
7. Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and troubleshoot issues.
8. Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders during the construction phase.
9. Monitor and control project costs and timelines.
10. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficient in structural analysis software.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
