Job summary

Dutco Group in Dubai seeks a Structural Design Engineer to oversee the structural design aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements while aligning with the overall project plan.

You will coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers and subcontractors, review drawings and calculations, perform structural analyses using AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000 and ETABS, and lead quality assurance to deliver precise deliverables on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and coordination.
• Project management or coordination experience preferred.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Familiarity with construction processes and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structural design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct structural analysis using software tools to assess design integrity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on structural design matters.
• Review and approve subcontractor's structural designs and drawings.
• Monitor project progress and address structural design-related issues promptly.
• Prepare and present reports, presentations, and updates on structural design status.
