Job description

Our Client, a high level government entity, is looking for a Senior Analyst to support strategic and operational projects by providing high-quality analyses and policy briefs for senior stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to ensure the success of key initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Leadership : Lead coordination of project workflows, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Act as an interim project manager when needed.
  • Research & Analysis : Conduct in-depth research on regional/global trends, particularly in higher education, to inform strategic priorities and produce high-quality policy briefs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and consultants to advance initiatives and ensure alignment with agreements.
  • Policy Development : Develop management consulting-style presentations, frameworks, and strategic narratives for executive audiences.
  • Team Leadership : Mentor junior team members and provide guidance during project execution.
  • Risk Management : Monitor budgets, identify delivery risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Knowledge Management : Maintain institutional databases, handbooks, and resources for seamless access and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Public Policy, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in strategic advisory, management consulting, public sector, or multilateral organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and deliver actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of higher education trends or policy development.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint storyboarding/structuring, Excel analysis).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Advanced time management, organizational rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts into clear frameworks for diverse audiences.
