Job summary

The Amana Group is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead large-scale steel building projects across the UAE. You will drive planning, execution, and close-out, while upholding safety, quality, and client value on multi‑million‑dollar initiatives.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and resources; coordinate design, procurement, fabrication, and field teams; review drawings and change orders; mentor engineers and promote best practices across the department. Travel to UAE sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 8+ years in steel building construction project management.
• Proven track record delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and budget.
• Strong knowledge of AISC, ASCE, and local codes.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project and BIM tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to UAE job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of steel building projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate design, procurement, fabrication, and field crews.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review engineering drawings, specs, and change orders.
• Monitor progress, generate reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and lead value-engineering initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the department.
