Responsibilities

• Produce electrical deliverables independently with minimal guidance
• Understand and apply international codes and standards
• Design Mechanical systems, including SLDs, protection, and control schemes
• Review Mechanical deliverables for accuracy and scope alignment
• Serve as Lead Engineer or discipline technical authority on small to medium projects
• Supervise small teams or provide guidance to others
• Assist in managerial tasks such as planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Own challenging Mechanical engineering tasks on large or complex projects
• Review vendor quotations and evaluate technical proposals
• Develop material take-offs for Mechanical discipline
• Coordinate with vendors and participate in project reviews and audits
• Understand plant design and equipment layout
• Liaise with clients on technical matters
• Conduct site surveys and data gathering for brownfield projects
• Manage technical and commercial risks effectively

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
• Strong core Mechanical Engineering skills, especially in Oil & Gas
• Experience across various project phases, including offshore upstream
• Experience with Mechanical Static/Package HAZOP/SAFOP
• Leadership experience with junior engineers and designers
• Customer-focused with good analytical and innovative skills
