Job summary

Blip is a global technology company seeking a Staff Architect to define the technical and backend architecture strategy aligned with global business goals. You will establish formal architecture processes (RFCs/ADRs) for high-scale distributed systems and lead cross-team initiatives bridging engineering with stakeholders.

You will mentor Staff Engineers and Tech Leads, create PoCs to validate directions and security gaps, and drive architecture programs across multiple teams in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Executive technical leadership experience at Staff+ or Principal Architect level.
• Deep mastery of C#/.NET and microservices ecosystem.
• Strong knowledge of resilient system design, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing RFCs/ADRs and governance frameworks.
• Proficient in observability tools and complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical and backend architecture strategy aligned with global business goals
• Establish and lead formal architecture processes (RFCs/ADRs) for high-scale distributed systems
• Lead high-complexity solutions across multiple teams, bridging engineering and stakeholders
• Mentor Staff Engineers and Tech Leads to elevate organizational technical maturity
• Create Proofs of Concept (POCs) to validate architectural directions and security gaps

Requirements

• Experience in executive technical leadership (Staff+, EM, or Principal Architect)
• Deep mastery of C# (.NET) and the microservices ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of resilient system design, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Practical experience implementing RFCs/ADRs and technical governance frameworks
• Proficiency in observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, APM) and complex CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent/advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-region architectures and large-scale migrations in Enterprise/SaaS
• Leadership of Architecture Review Boards (ARBs)
• History of technical due diligence or publishing technical articles/talks
• Active use of AI tools to optimize the development cycle
