About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior / Staff Android Engineer who’s obsessed with building sleek, reliable Android apps that make crypto simple and seamless. You’ll be the tech glue holding complex mobile projects together, leading architecture and mentorship, and pushing our mobile platform into its next evolution. What You’ll Be Owning

Drive Mobile Engineering Excellence

In your first 90 days : Own and optimize our Android app’s architecture—make it scalable, fast, and future-proof.

By 6 months : Lead cross-functional delivery with product and design, shipping major features that delight users.

On-going : Define and enforce Android best practices, from code quality to performance optimization.

Technical Leadership

Be a thought leader on the team and across the organization

Lead technical decisions around native Android (Kotlin / Java), WebView, JS Bridge, and cross-platform Flutter integrations.

Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to elevate the team’s output and culture.

Architect and develop mobile strategy in alignment with Quidax’s growth and crypto roadmap.

Team & Culture Building

Collaborate closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to ship great products

Provide technical structure to teams and collaborate with management and stakeholders to define and implement strategic roadmaps

What We’re Looking For

You write clean code. You sweat the small stuff when it matters. You obsess over system design. And you care about impact.

7+ years building Android apps that users love (Kotlin and Java are your best friends).

Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact

Deep experience integrating REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and working with WebView + JS Bridge magic.

Leadership chops—mentored engineers, driven tech decisions, led architectural discussions.

A problem solver who plays well with Product and Design, keeping customer experience front and center.

Bonus points if you’ve worked on blockchain / crypto apps or know your way around Jetpack components.

Reporting Line

You’ll report to the Director of Engineering. You’ll jam regularly with senior engineers, product managers, and mobile / frontend teammates to build the backbone of our infrastructure.
