Analog seeks a Speech & Language Scientist to advance research in speech and audio technologies, bridging research and development to enable cutting-edge ASR, NLU, TTS, and conversational AI.

The role involves collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to translate research into real-world applications, while advancing state-of-the-art methods and models in audio processing.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS, EE, or related field with focus on speech/audio processing.
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
• Expertise in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and languages like Python, C++.
• Strong knowledge of signal processing and deep learning models for speech/audio tasks.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing.
• Publications in CVPR, ECCV, NIPS, ICASSP, InterSpeech, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in speech and audio technologies: ASR, TTS, audio enhancement, speaker ID, spatial audio.
• Model, design, develop and test novel audio/speech processing algorithms using ML and signal processing.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers to deploy research into real-world applications.
• Improve model accuracy and coordinate teams to solve issues efficiently.
• Propose AI-driven scenarios to improve client business efficiency.
• Invent and optimize algorithms for speech, text-to-speech, and speaker recognition.
