SearchPlus HR Consultancy is assisting a leading UAE government healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi to recruit a Specialist/Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine. The role focuses on high-risk pregnancies, advanced fetal assessments, and multidisciplinary care.

The candidate will manage complex obstetric cases, perform sophisticated ultrasound exams, and contribute to teaching and research within the obstetrics and gynecology team.

Qualifikationen

• Recognized medical degree MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
• Western qualifications preferred (UK CC/CT, American/Canadian/Australian boards).
• Post-specialization experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine.
• Expertise in advanced obstetric ultrasound, fetal assessment, and management of complex pregnancies.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork across disciplines.

Aufgaben

• Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide comprehensive maternal and fetal care.
• Assess pregnancies with maternal conditions, fetal abnormalities, and obstetric risks.
• Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations and fetal assessments.
• Conduct fetal anomaly screening, growth monitoring, and Doppler studies.
• Diagnose and manage fetal growth restriction and multiple pregnancies.
• Counsel expectant parents regarding fetal abnormalities and management options.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with obstetricians, neonatologists, genetic specialists, and others.
• Develop individualized plans to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to guidelines and safety standards.
• Participate in audits, teaching, research, and CME.
