Job summary

A leading government healthcare facility in the UAE seeks a Specialist/Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine to join its obstetrics and gynecology team in Dubai. The role focuses on high-risk pregnancies, complex maternal-fetal conditions, and advanced prenatal care.

The candidate will perform fetal ultrasound, coordinate multidisciplinary care, counsel families, and contribute to audits, teaching, and CME while adhering to patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
• Postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
• Western qualifications preferred (UK CCT/CCST, American/Canadian/Australian boards).
• Post-specialization experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal medicine.
• Expertise in advanced obstetric ultrasound and fetal assessment.
• Excellent clinical judgment and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk pregnancies and provide maternal-fetal care.
• Assess pregnancies with maternal conditions and fetal abnormalities.
• Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound and fetal assessments.
• Conduct fetal anomaly screening, growth monitoring, and Doppler studies.
• Counsel parents on fetal abnormalities and management options.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with obstetricians, neonatologists, and genetics.
• Develop individualized management plans for outcomes.
• Maintain records and follow safety guidelines.
• Participate in audits, teaching, research, and CME.
