Job summary

Tencent is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect in the UAE to engage with clients, design multi-cloud architectures, and plan migrations across public and private clouds. You will document architecture designs and recommendations while staying current on cloud-native practices.

Responsibilities include leading technical discussions, creating migration strategies, and collaborating with teams across major cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience in cloud computing architecture design, implementation, and migration.
• Familiar with mainstream cloud platforms (Tencent Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware).
• Certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (containers, microservices, Serverless).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language with scripting (JS/Java/Go).
• English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Engage in deep conversations with clients to analyze business requirements and draft cloud solution architectures.
• Design and implement cloud solutions across public and private clouds (infrastructure, platform, applications).
• Write technical documentation detailing architecture design and implementation.

What the Role Entails

Engage in deep conversations with clients to analyze and understand their business requirements, providing cloud solution architecture designs that meet those requirements. Design and implement solutions based on both public clouds (such as Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, etc.) and private clouds, including infrastructure, platform, and applications. Write technical documentation detailing the architecture design and implementation details of cloud solutions. Design cloud migration strategies, including both public cloud migration and private cloud migration. Continuously track the development of cloud computing technologies and make relevant suggestions and recommendations for improvement.

Who We Look For

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Extensive experience in cloud computing architecture design, implementation, and migration, familiar with mainstream cloud platforms (such as Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware, etc.). Relevant certifications are preferred. Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and best practices, including containerization, microservices, Serverless, etc. Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.) with scripting skills.
