Job summary

Arcsen in Dubai, UAE seeks an experienced Senior Software Project Manager to oversee software development projects on a full‑time, on‑site renewable contract. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and clients to meet timelines and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of software development methodologies, and proven ability to manage complex projects with stakeholders and budgets in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in software project management.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methods and their applications.
• Experience with JIRA and Microsoft Project software.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables aligned with business needs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and resources.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and mentor junior managers.
• Identify risks, mitigate issues and implement contingency plans.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and clients through regular updates.
• Ensure quality standards and successful software releases on time and budget.
• Monitor budgets and optimize resource allocation across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
