Job summary

Bain & Company in Dubai is seeking an Expert Manager Software Engineering to lead the development of complex, production-grade applications across industries.

You will mentor a diverse engineering team through the full lifecycle, shape architecture, and drive DevOps, CI/CD, security, and performance best practices at scale.

Travel is required; you will collaborate with clients and teams across regions to deliver impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
• You bring at least 6 years of end-to-end experience designing, building and maintaining production-grade full-stack applications.
• 5 years hands-on development with modern web technologies React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3 (including CSS-in-JS).
• 4 years building server-side services with FastAPI, Flask, Core or Java Spring Boot, including RESTful/GraphQL/gRPC APIs.
• Cloud-native delivery on AWS, Azure or GCP with infrastructure-as-code.
• Containerization & orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Shape & scope client solutions by translating business problems into backlogs and roadmaps for cross-functional squads.
• Own full-stack design & build of web applications with integrated third-party services.
• Drive front-end modernization engagements and improve architecture & security patterns.
• Establish front-end engineering best practices, tooling, testing, CI/CD and accessibility.
• Develop reusable libraries and accelerators shared across client projects.
