Digitalzone seeks a senior engineering leader to architect production systems spanning multiple teams in Dubai. You will drive convergence of shared services, set quality standards, and champion secure, observable architectures. Your influence will shape how several product lines ship reliably and safely at scale.

You will mentor engineers, guide cross-team decisions, and balance cost with value while maintaining a focus on long-term platform health and fragmentation minimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production software with cross-team ownership
• Evidence of consolidating forked or duplicated services or setting cross-team standards
• Security and fraud lens applied by default: OWASP awareness and safe design for payments/digital fulfilment
• Influence across teams and ability to guide engineering decisions with buy-in

Responsibilities

• Architect systems spanning multiple teams and design for future use cases
• Drive convergence of shared services across business units
• Set code quality, testing and review standards for teams and ensure maintainability
• Lead investigations across domains and mentor others on systematic debugging
• Own observability and drive stability using operational and business metrics
• Lead secure design reviews and partner with security to apply and enforce policy
• Collaborate with fraud and risk stakeholders to balance security with customer friction
• Ensure epics and cross-team dependencies are clearly broken down and resolvable
