Job summary

Dutchie is a leading technology platform powering dispensary operations and enabling consumers to access cannabis safely and conveniently. The role focuses on translating customer pain points into high-performance product experiences and driving end-to-end project lifecycles across core platforms.

You will mentor engineers, tackle technical debt, and lead AI-assisted workflows to improve speed and quality while participating in on-call incident responses and design discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Ruby or .NET/C#.
• Deep understanding of scalable distributed systems.
• Extensive experience with relational (SQL Server) and non-relational data modeling.
• Advanced experience using LLMs and agentic tools in development workflows.
• Ability to drive problems to completion with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design teams to translate customer pain points into high-performance product experiences.
• Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of medium-to-large scale projects from design to deployment.
• Identify technical debt and design scalable solutions for core platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers through PR reviews and design discussions.
• Lead by example in using LLMs and agentic tools to amplify speed and quality.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident responses.
