This position reports to

Digital Solution Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will execute assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing curated project schedule estimates and ensuring their successful completion within the deadline. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite. This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore Southfield, India.

Your responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Recent Standard Development Platforms for Web Application Development
• Extensive experience on establishing a suitable DevOps channel across the platforms
• Experience on setting up a continuous build environment to speed up software development and deployment process
• Participate in Requirement Gatherings as required
• Participate in design discussions, documentation, and reviews with ABB team as needed
• Work closely with ABB project manager for deliverables and milestones identification and tracking

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience (6-10 years) working with software engineering teams with below expertise:
• Primary Skills: C# Fundamentals & Advanced features/Coding guidelines, .Net Standard & Framework, Angular
• 5-8, Material Framework & HTML5
• Additional: .NetCore, C#, WebAPI & Entity Framework Core (Databases), Azure deployment, Service fabric & Kubernetes
• Scrum master experience in 2 projects
