Key Responsibilities

Core Software Development

• Design, develop, andmaintainscalable backend services and microservices.
• Build robust APIs and data pipelines for processing and analyzing network traffic and security events.
• Architect distributed systems that are performant, resilient, and maintainable.

Platform Integration (Networking & Security)

• Integrate backend services withfirewallplatforms (e.g.,OPNsense) via REST APIs.
• Develop services that interact with networking and security components such as proxies, IDS/IPS, and traffic inspection engines.
• Translate networking and security requirements into scalable software components.

Software Engineering

• Strongproficiencyin Java or Golang
• Experience building microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems
• Experience with caching (e.g., Redis), databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and observability tools (e.g., ELK)

Domain Knowledge (Networking & Security)

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, andfirewallbehavior
• Exposure to traffic filtering, IDS/IPS, or secure web gateways
• Experience with tools such asOPNsense, Suricata, Snort, or Squid is a plus
