Job summary

Emirates Group seeks a Senior Technical DevOps Engineer to advance container platforms and cloud automation. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, implement IaC and drive site reliability across product teams in a Dubai-based environment.

The role emphasizes developer-Operations alignment, automation, and secure, scalable deployments with 12-factor app principles and canary deployments when rolling out updates.

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes and cloud tooling.
• Strong DevOps, automation and IaC background with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery phase of Cloud adoption/migration with architects and security.
• Automate change management, build resiliency and expand monitoring and capacity planning.
• Lead service reliability, scalability and performance for multiple products.
• Review deployments to reduce failure, troubleshoot across the stack and expand monitoring.
• Collaborate with Release Engineering, Product Development and Security teams.
• Embrace DevSecOps to ensure security, compliance and robust solutions.
