Job Description

At GAC, we rely on our IT systems to provide the best solutions that help our users around the world. We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join us on this journey, using their knowledge of software development to make us more efficient.

The role is part of the Project Management Office team. The primary goal is to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

You will deliver high-quality code, lead validation for testing phases, and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Job requirements

Objectives of this Role

• Design, develop, and implement applications, including Web and Client/Server applications using MS .NET Framework, C#.NET, ASP.NET, WCF, WPF, MVC, ASP.Net Core.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and extensive scripting experience in coding Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers using MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform is an advantage.
• Experience in the Finance domain is an advantage.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in software design, development, application architecture, and integration.
• Proficiency in .NET platforms and related technologies (C#, WPF, WCF/Web Services, MVVM).
• Proficiency in MS SQL.
• Experience with Cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Experience in the software development lifecycle and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in a diverse, stakeholder-rich environment.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in unit testing is essential.
