Job description

The Company is a broad-based multinational media group headquartered in South Africa and Dubai, with principal operations in pay television and video entertainment. The group operates in almost 50 countries across Africa.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Code and test complex systems using agreed standards, architectures, and tools to achieve well-engineered results.
2. Create unit tests for all developed components.
3. Review own work and lead code reviews of colleagues' work.
4. Document complex systems to achieve a well-described landscape.
5. Adhere to policies, standards, and procedures applicable to software development, quality control, and release management.
6. Actively contribute to the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, helping to drive a Quality Culture.
7. Report to the Platform Owner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric
• Skills in JAVA, .Net Core, OAuth 2.0, JSON, HTTP, and ORACLE.
• Azure/Amazon experience or qualifications preferred.
• Experience using ADO/Sparx is a plus.
• SAFe Agile qualification preferred.
• Experience working on the SmartVista Payment Platform is beneficial.
