Job summary

DISCOVERED is seeking a Senior Software Architect to own the end-to-end software architecture and contribute hands-on development in a fast-moving startup environment.

You will captivate on integrating ML models into scalable production systems, while ensuring security, privacy, and observability across cloud-native services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of software architecture and hands-on engineering.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience building commercial SaaS products for customers.
• Cloud infrastructure on AWS and container orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Solid DevOps and MLOps practices, IaC and CI tools.
• Knowledge of zero trust security, data encryption, and data residency standards.
• Startup or scaleup experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with large language models or agentic setups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of software and platform architecture from design to production.
• Spend ~50% on hands-on coding, integrating ML models in Python.
• Design, deploy, and manage multi-tenant microservices on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Embed zero trust networking and security controls across platforms with CI/CD and observability.
• Develop production-grade software for external commercial users.
• Identify bottlenecks, debt, and scalability limits and resolve them.

As a Senior Software Architect, you will balance technical strategy with active development in a roughly equal split. You will take end to end architectural ownership of user centric applications and cloud infrastructure supporting a modular platform.

You will lead the integration of machine learning models into reliable, scalable production systems while ensuring cloud native services remain secure, compliant, and observable. This is an individual contributor position designed for a skilled builder who thrives in a fast moving environment.

Discover the Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of software and platform architecture from initial design through production deployment.
• Spend half your time writing hands on code, specifically integrating machine learning models and working with Python.
• Design, deploy, and manage multi tenant microservices infrastructure across AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters.
• Embed zero trust networking, privacy by design, and strict security controls across platforms Build and optimize continuous deployment pipelines, automated testing, and full stack observability layers.
• Work on production grade software products built directly for external commercial users.
• Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability limitations.
