Job summary

Discovered MENA is seeking a Senior Software Architect to drive end-to-end software architecture for a security- and privacy-focused SaaS platform. You will balance technical strategy with hands-on development, shaping cloud-native services and multi-tenant microservices on AWS and Kubernetes.

You will lead integration of machine learning models into production systems while enforcing zero-trust security, encryption, and data residency requirements in a fast-moving startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of software architecture and hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills and experience building commercial SaaS products.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Understanding of zero-trust security, data encryption, and data residency.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of software and platform architecture from initial design through production deployment.
• Spend half your time writing hands on code, specifically integrating machine learning models and working with Python.
• Design, deploy, and manage multi tenant microservices infrastructure across AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes clusters.
• Embed zero trust networking, privacy by design, and strict security controls across platforms.
• Build and optimize continuous deployment pipelines, automated testing, and full stack observability layers.
• Work on production grade software products built directly for external commercial users.
• Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability limitations.
