Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates to design, build, and evolve large-scale, customer-facing infrastructure.

You will own critical infrastructure end-to-end—from architecture to production operations—while collaborating with product engineering, security, and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, security, and cost-efficiency. The role involves leadership, mentoring, and driving cross-team technical decisions.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure or backend engineering.
• Experience owning a significant product, platform component, or subsystem from design to production operation.
• Proficient with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code solutions and cloud fundamentals.
• Strong English communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a core infrastructure product or subsystem end-to-end, from design to operation.
• Define project objectives, measurable success criteria, and identify risks.
• Translate requirements into pragmatic designs addressing edge cases without unnecessary complexity.
• Build secure, resilient, and cost-efficient infrastructure for diverse workloads.
