Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a highly skilled HSE Engineer to join the UAE site team. The role involves acting as liaison between the PMC/Client and Contractors, ensuring adherence to the HSE Plan, procedures and legal requirements, and implementing proactive HSE controls.

The candidate must have a minimum 12 years of HSE experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or HSE, NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification. Experience as a supervision consultant is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or HSE from an accredited university.
• NEBOSH Diploma or higher HSE qualification (Level 5+).
• ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification.
• NEBOSH IGC.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant HSE experience.
• Experience as a Supervision Consultant is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between PMC/Client and Contractors to enforce HSE plans.
• Develop and implement proactive HSE monitoring program including audits and reports.
• Participate in HSE incident investigations and ensure regulatory reporting.
• Review project HSE documents, risk assessments and method statements.
• Chair regular HSE meetings and maintain minutes; engage with authorities as needed.
