Job summary

ElsewedyElectric is seeking an experienced HSE professional in the UAE to implement and monitor health, safety and environment policies across project sites. You will ensure compliance with UAE regulations, conduct risk assessments and safety audits, and lead toolbox talks and training.

The role requires 5–8 years in construction or infrastructure HSE, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of HSE experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of UAE HSE legislation, local authority requirements, and client standards.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent qualification preferred or required depending on project.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident investigation, PTW systems, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and plans across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and client requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Prepare risk assessments, JSAs, and method statements.
• Monitor activities to ensure compliance with PTW systems and safe practices.
• Develop emergency plans and conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, identify root causes and actions.
• Maintain HSE reports, records, and safety statistics.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve HSE issues and improvements.
