Job summary

Heilbronn is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer for a high-rise project in Dubai. You will supervise piling through MEP integration, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and approvals.

The role requires strong coordination with multiple contractors and authorities, and a proven track record on G+15 towers. You will review structural and MEP submissions, lead progress meetings, and drive timely completion with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 12–15 years of building construction experience, with at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer or Senior Site Engineer.
• High-Rise Experience supervising G+15 towers, preferably in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of piling, shoring, raft foundations, PT slabs, core walls, and crane coordination.
• MEP coordination experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and fire alarm.
• Familiarity with Trakhees, Dubai Holding, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, Empower, SIRA and UAE regs.
• Ability to review structural drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and construction programmes.
• Leadership, contractor coordination, quality control, and reporting capabilities.
• Preference for experience with a reputable engineering consultancy in Dubai.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities including piling, excavation, shoring, raft foundations, superstructure, architectural finishes, and MEP works.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, project specs, quality standards, and authority requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Supervise structural works including core walls, PT slabs, tower crane arrangements, and climbing formwork systems.
• Coordinate MEP with contractors and consultants to ensure proper integration with structural/architectural works.
• Review MEP coordination drawings, builders' work drawings, openings, sleeves, embedded services, risers, shafts, and equipment installations.
• Monitor MEP installation progress, resolve interface issues, and coordinate technical queries.
• Coordinate with Main Contractor, MEP Contractor, subcontractors, design consultants, and authorities (Trakhees, DCD).
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor quality, and close NCRs.
• Review contractor payments, variations, and claims.
• Lead progress meetings and report to the Client.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, authority approvals, and handover.
