Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of onsite construction activities for large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans in compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.
  • Review and approve construction drawings, technical submittals, and change orders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marine construction engineering with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.
  • Valid UAE Driving License.
