Senior Site Architect - Supervision Projects

Mirage, a leading architecture and engineering consultancy firm based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Site Architect to lead supervision projects ranging from villa communities to high-rise towers. With a strong presence in the region, we specialise in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across various sectors. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Project Diversity:
   Manage supervision projects encompassing a wide range of architectural structures, from villa communities to mixed used high-rise towers.
   Adapt and apply architectural expertise to meet the unique challenges posed by different project types.
2. Workload Management:
   Handle multiple projects concurrently, balancing workload and priorities effectively.
   Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery within established timelines.
3. Quality Management:
   Oversee the construction process to ensure alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
   Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction phase.
   Experience in project close-out handing over procedures.
4. Time Management and Submittal Processing:
   Demonstrate efficient time management skills to process submittals promptly and accurately from contractors.
   Monitor and track project timelines, ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones.
5. Mentorship and Team Leadership:
   Mentor and guide junior staff, providing technical expertise and professional development support.
   Foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment within the architectural team.
6. Technical Proficiency:
   Demonstrate a deep understanding of local construction techniques, regulations, and materials.
   Provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
   In-depth knowledge and expertise in facade designs principles, materials and construction techniques.
   Significant experience of landscape design principles, planting design, hardscape elements and grading.
   Knowledge of high-rise towers vertical transportation design principles.
   Basic knowledge of BIM 360 or ACC.
7. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
   Engage with Clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
   Ensure Client satisfaction through regular communication and the delivery of high-quality architectural solutions.
8. Team Collaboration:
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers, to integrate architectural elements seamlessly.
9. Reporting:
   Provide regular updates and reports to the Resident Engineer (RE) and the Director of Architecture on the progress of various projects.
   Proactively address any challenges and propose solutions to ensure project success.

Qualifications required

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
2. Minimum of 15 years of experience as an architect, with a focus on supervision projects in the UAE.
3. Completed diverse projects, ranging from villa communities to high-rise towers.
4. In-depth knowledge of local construction techniques, regulations, and materials.
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
6. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360/ACC and other relevant architectural software.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with Clients, contractors, and internal teams.
8. Preferable with Emaar project experience.
